About the Countach LPI 800-4

The Lamborghini Countach LPI is a limited-run hypercar made to pay homage to the classic Countach. The Countach from the 70s and 80s defined what a Lamborghini is in people’s minds.

The Countach is powered by a V12 engine generating 769 horsepower and a thin electric motor plugged into supercapacitors. The latter contributes only 34 hp but smooths out power delivery during launches and shifts to greatly improve acceleration.

The Countach LPI 800-4 is very similar to the Sián FKP 37, another hybrid hypercar that came before it. Both cars are based on the Aventador platform. Other limited-run hypercars based on the Aventador are the Veneno, Centenario, and Essenza SCV12.
