S/S goes to Yorkville Exotic Car Show 2024

With eyes set on Lamborghini rarities, we dove into the heart of Toronto’s spectacular car show.

Not every day do world-class exotic car shows pop up under your nose; that happened to me with the Yorkville Exotics car show in Toronto.

I live in the Greater Toronto Area, and here is the best exotic car show scene in Canada (although I have heard good things about Montreal), but nothing is as thriving as places in the USA and Canada. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I caught wind of the Yorkville Exotics Car Show.

The Yorkville Exotic Car Show is an outdoor street festival that closes down Bloor Street in the heart of Toronto so attendees can walk a red carpet while observing rare cars from Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin, Bugatti, Porsche, and others.

The event is a fundraiser for Melanoma Canada; this is a cause I can get behind because my grandfather had multiple melanoma spots because of the excessive sun exposure he endured in the military. I donated, and I encourage you to do the same!

I contacted the PR team behind the event, and they gave my son and me wristbands that allowed us to enter the VIP tents, which had shade, cool drinks, and food.

Bloor Street from Yonge to Avenue Road is the commercial center of Toronto, so there are towering buildings on either side of the closed-down street. However, the sun was shining down on the cars high in the sky. There wasn’t a cloud to be seen this Father’s Day weekend. Fittingly, the cars sat in front of luxury stores like Hermès, Louis Vuitton, and CHANEL.

My son and I were on the hunt for Lamborghinis, and the first we found was a clean Lamborghini Murcielago in orange parked beside a gray and navy Buggati Veyron – the two cars contrasted each other nicely.

Next, we saw GTA ExoticsHuracán racecar with their version of ‘The Stig’ posed beside it. My son got inside – an absolute dream for a 9-year-old! They said their only rule was that he could not drive it away, which he found hilarious.

We saw a nice pair of Huracán Spyders parked together: a bright yellow-green LP 640-4 Performante Spyder and a more restrained green LP 640-4 Evo.

The two Lambos were in eyeshot of the legendary ROM Crystal, a landmark designed by architect Daniel Libeskind. Both the cars and the museum were angular and bold in design.

Unfortunately, we missed the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4, which was also at the show but must have been down a side street.

We also saw some other great cars along the way. The standout was a car with a Union Jack flag draped over it for most of the event; it must be British.

It turned out to be the 2025 Aston Martin Vantage in orange; I always maintain that Aston Martin cars are far more impressive in person than in photos, and this was no exception.

Check out the gallery below with photos of what we saw.

Thank you for The Yorkville Exotic Car Show for hosting us. This article is not a sponsored post.
